Method of Working

My current works involve translating a design on to a wood panel, then creating puzzle-like cutouts, where each piece is separately painted and epoxy is applied to some or all of the pieces. The assembly is then glued to a backer panel and a frame is built (sometimes factory made) for the piece.

Material Experimentation

For the mixed media works, I’ll often use craft art materials such as wooden figures, glitter, 3D paint, metallic foils, faux gem stones, and glass beads along with acrylic paints and epoxy coatings to develop an idea.
